Mild, no wind, little natural snow.
Second day of opening in 1992, with nominally 4 runs open. The only significant run was the two mile long Ridge Run, served by the new high speed Quad lift.
Good skiing conditions, even though the variety was limited. Good visibility and sunlight - super view of Lake Tahoe.
Patsy's - Short run down from top of Gondola to upload lift for higher mountain
Maggie's - Path down from higher mountain to upload lift. Groomed, used as the nursery slope
Ridge Run - Approx 2000 feet vertical, easy run around the ridge on the California side. Good condition machine groomed man-made snow. One very steep section at the end with icy patches late in the day.
Cat Track (*) - Narrow track down to upload lift, alternative to Maggie's
